I had an incredible stay! Laura and George were amazing hosts, and the homemade breakfast was to die for, especially the cinnamon bun! The lovely decor added to the peaceful vibe, but I was disappointed the pool was gone. I'd definitely return!

Highly recommended for a family gathering

The home is beautiful and is like an art gallery infused with a vintage paradise. WE enjoyed the well appointed bedrooms with plenty of space for everyone. Two full bathrooms upstairs so you never felt rushed.

Our family had an amazing stay at Matthews Manor Bed & Breakfast! The King Suite with Pool View was beautifully decorated and provided a cozy space for us to relax after a day of exploring Charlotte. The warmth of Linda and George, along with their incredible hospitality, truly made us feel at home. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, especially the homemade treats!

I absolutely loved the welcoming atmosphere from Linda and George. They greeted me right away and gave me a tour of the beautifully decorated home. The bed in the Deluxe Queen Room was comfortable, making it easy to fall asleep after a long day. Breakfast stood out, especially the homemade cinnamon buns and fresh fruit. It felt delightful to start the day with such delicious food. Conversations with Linda were genuine and enriching. However, the pool was closed during my stay, which I found disappointing since I hoped to swim and relax by it. Overall, the experience was memorable, but I would have enjoyed it more with access to the pool.
